VEEDog, Inc. is a U.S. based software security company whose products are designed to detect and prevent next-generation intrusion and cybercrime in the small business market. The company’s corporate administrative offices are in Burbank, CA. There are branch offices in Sunnyvale, CA, and in the Philippines.
VEEDog, Inc. was founded by Daniel Lorch. Mr. Lorch spent 2009-2013 establishing and running an antivirus (AV) company in the Philippines, where he was President, CEO, and GM of GFI Software Philippines/ThreatTrack Security Philippines Inc. Mr. Lorch built the company into a world-class AV lab with 125 staff, including 65 software engineers and 33 technical support engineers.
Prior to that he was COO of Digital Lightwave Inc. (DLI), a telecom test equipment manufacturer, and part of the executive team that took the company public in 1997. DLI was ranked the second-best performing stock on the NASDAQ in 1999 after 3 years of rocketing sales. During those early years, Mr. Lorch was Director of Sales and VP Customer Development. Preceding his time at DLI, Mr. Lorch was Founder, President, and CEO of DC Digital Engineering Inc., providing computer hardware and service to a multitude of government agencies and private sector companies.
Craig Ferreira is President of VEEDog, Inc. He is also the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Survival Strategies Inc., a premium consulting and training company, with clients in all 50 states and Canada. He and his company have trained owners and key staff in over 5,000 privately-owned businesses in the U.S., Canada, and South America over 30 years, with an emphasis on increasing efficiency and production through the improvement of executive abilities in the fields of PR, marketing, sales, and management.
Mr. Ferreira has personally worked in over 23 countries, with small businesses of all types. He is also the designer of industry-specific software that provides proprietary business analysis and production tools for managing small businesses.
Mr. Ferreira was one of the founders and executives in charge of sales and marketing for one of the first point-of-sale software systems for the retail clothing industry in the U.S. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to work with hundreds of small retail stores throughout the country.
As Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Bruce Wiseman brings a stellar track record in marketing having served over 25 years as President and CEO of On Target Research, a marketing company specializing in positioning and branding. Founded in Los Angeles in 1987, the company now maintains offices in Toronto, Sydney, and Moscow.
On Target provides market research, surveys, positioning, and branding strategies to enterprises throughout the U.S. and abroad. It specializes in using the results of proprietary surveys to help companies develop strategic positions and tactical marketing programs within their specific industries.
Clients include world-class, multi-billion dollar brands such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Hitachi Consulting, Marriott, Hilton, and Holiday Inn, as well as businesses in virtually every industry sector.
Chris Coleman is the Senior Technical Consultant responsible for product beta test, and for bringing products, features, and upgrades to the global market.
He works closely with both VEEDog customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth transition from product development to market readiness.
Prior to VEEDog, Mr. Coleman was Principle Systems Engineer at QLogic with responsibility for product acceptance in their primary markets (high performance computing; media and entertainment; and establishment and support of value added reseller channel programs). Prior to that he was a Technical and Product Specialist at IBM, and was a configuration programmer responsible for alerts and alarms, enabling more accurate systems administration and management on large, multi-tiered enterprise environments. Prior to that, Mr. Coleman was the Senior Technical Support Engineer for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, providing pre- and post-sales support for the Unigraphics product for 13 years. During product introduction and for subsequent product revisions, McDonnell Douglas rose to number one position in design and manufacturing in the U.S. market.
VEEDog’s Senior Networking Consultant, Marc Ferreira, brings 23 years of best-practice experience as a senior networking consultant with some of the most recognized technology brands in the world. He was most recently a senior network consultant with a premier IT consulting firm in Silicon Valley, where he consulted for a variety of clients, from medium-size businesses to enterprise-size environments with offices around the globe, including Amgen Corporation, where he provided technical and project oversight to their outsourcing provider for two and a half years, and was instrumental in salvaging the outsourcing contract; and FireEye, where he designed an entire new network for their HQ campus, including labs (some carrying malware traffic), wide area networks, and remote sites to help make possible the explosive growth they were and are experiencing.
